Pre training for Trek

Everest base camp is in my mind from last year but as there are two window open in season one in march-April and one is in October

so this time i thought about lets do this big thing. i means it is very big thing 15-20 days constant uphill climbing around 10-15 km with less oxygen in air its hard but not impossible. so i started my research first i find ki i need extensive training in exercise running, and cardio which i have start from at least 1.5 or 2 month prior which i did. and make sure i maintain consistency. first try with small walk (3-5km) then increase everyday make sure in end you should run/walk 10 km in 1 hour. try to implement stairs climbing i am taking stairs of my apartment and office and reduce to taking lift as i used to lift system but i have to make habit of using stairs. see its very hard getting up everyday with 6am alarm but hard thing is hard you have to do it, there is no shortcut.

main thing the diet you maintain while these 2 months. i used to do swiggy/zomato orderd a lot but reduced day by day in some time i just stopped it. i miss sometimes pizza/burger and some fast-food so someday i go easy on myself and had it. so regular day look like this: getting up morning at 6-7am go for walking/running 1 hour after that breathing excersixe luckly the place i am living(bellandur) it hv so many lake from diffrent range in km so i went dirrent diffrent lake everday.after that i have light weith breakfast and then office lunch time is fix between 12:30 to 01:00 around evening 4-5 i have milk + peenutbuuter bread n jam and banana , and dinner timing is 7:30 to 8:00. here you have choose your lunch n dinner timing carefully because you cant change it everyday. i going office in hybrid mode 2-3 day from office so according to that i set my timings. also i tried to eat dal-bhat in lunch and dinner because while trekking you only get this food in nepal because its stepal food of that region and full of carbs and protein and digest easily. i try to myself sleep early 10-11pm so i can get up early. for the people who are going to gym its bit easy to follow this schedule because they used to it. talking about my body ratio its 65kg around & 5’9’’ ft.

How to reach Kathmandu

Option 1

fastest way to reach is flight. if you are from India their are most direct flights are there from all metro city. but remember one things all flights have one layover which is Delhi. so if you want to go cheap then reach first Delhi and then Delhi to KTM.

most of international flight from Europe, US & UK have layover at Dubai. so this flight option is if someone have dont much time.

if you extra days or you want to go very budget friendly then you can go by road from india.

option 2

this is the option i opting which is by road. so right now i am in bengalore and from here i will took train it will drop me at Ghorakhpur junction now sanoli border is nearby from gorakhpur or you can go to raxual border which is far from gorakhpur. so will take another train from gorakhpur and reach raxul. there we enter in Nepal and do custom check pass. also i suggest to money exchange here because you will find good rate here. i am doing 30k INR exchange which is enough if needed will do in KTM or Namche baazar.
